As an event organizer, we know you want to make it as easy as possible for your community to buy tickets. That is where the URL Coupons feature comes in.

This tool lets you create a simple web link that automatically applies a discount when your guests click it. They do not have to copy and paste any codes at checkout. It removes extra steps and helps you sell more tickets faster.

Step 1: Create or Find Your Coupon

First, log into your backend WordPress dashboard. Head over to the Marketing menu and click on Coupons.

You can either click to add a brand new coupon or select an existing one you want to edit.

Step 2: Open the Discount Links Tab

Once you are looking at your coupon details, find the tab labeled Discount links. This is where the magic happens.

Check the box that says Apply via URL to turn this feature on.

Step 3: Choose Your Link Type

Next, you need to decide how your attendees will get the discount. You have two great options.

1. You can select an existing page on your site, like a specific event landing page
2. You can create a Unique URL to share in your emails and social media posts.

Step 4: Set the Redirect Page

If you use a Unique URL, tell the system where to send the person after they click the link. Use the Page Redirect option to send them straight to your shop or cart page.

This keeps the checkout process moving smoothly for your guests.

Step 5: Add Products Automatically (Optional)

Want to make things even easier? You can set the link to automatically add specific event tickets to their cart.

Just search for the ticket type in the Products to Add to Cart box.
