Brotha Taaj is a Boston native who relocated to Philadelphia in 2009 after attending Temple University, where he discovered his passion for organizing and facilitating events as DJ Taaj. With his devotion to collective work and responsibility, he has been dedicated to developing large-scale community gatherings, particularly through his involvement producing Corporate Conferences, Outdoor Festivals, Retreats and other special events.

As the co-founder of Black Soul Summer and host of the All Love Block Party, he has been committed to uniting students with the local community since his college years. Today, this event has grown to become one of Philadelphia’s premier annual independently produced outdoor summer experiences. Brotha Taaj believes that collaboration and cooperative economics are the keys to fostering unity and always strives to bring these values to the events he produces.

Brotha Taaj’s expertise in event planning, promotion, and execution has been honed over the course of 10+ years. He has led the end-to-end management of various special events, from grassroots marketing campaigns to innovative experiences that generate and retain loyal supporters. His intimate understanding of community engagement, public relations, and socioeconomic diversity enables him to engage diverse communities seamlessly.

With his vocal prowess, DJ skills, and event production experience, Brotha Taaj ensures that every event he is involved in is a memorable experience. Whether in Boston, Philadelphia, or elsewhere in the United States, his energetic performance always brings the crowd together.
